I want to apologize in advance if I got things a bit mixed up from time to time. I'm a HUGE fan of Doctor Who, but it's damn near impossible to remember all the facts and squeeze them into a two hour show (well, slightly more than 2 hours).

And I did something i've done from the beginning - confused the Sylvester McCoy episode "Battleground" with the final Doctor Who show of the original run, "Survival". Please know when i'm talking about "Battleground" I really mean "Survival" - i've always transposed the two titles, and i've never quite figured out why...

THIS WEEKS' NOTES

As always during Hero Heat, we get a bit longwinded, so the show is about 20 minutes over it's normal time to make sure we can accomodate everything - hope you won't mind too much...heh heh heh...

You will begin to notice some changes to the show as we start mucking around with the format slightly. We have eliminated The Callback segment, since everything we usually mention in that part of the show is already promoted through the small bumpers and adverts. We felt we could use the time more wisely to showcase other things, such as our new "Cinema Subjects" news update segment and such. If there are goings on you need to know about, we'll let you know in the various segments!

Some minor tweaking to the website will be happening over the next couple of days...keep a look out for the revamped ListZone area, and a new and expanded links page. And don't forget to check out the new Theater Chain Directory that went online last week! More great handy things are in the works, so keep coming back and checking things out!

I was STILL unable to get the two audio reviews into the show this week - so next week, FOR SURE they will be there, and I apologize to both Stacy and Rob for taking so long with them...

Next Week, we'll head "south of the border" (kind of) as we take a look at "Zorro With A Z"!  See you then!

It's BAAAAACCCCKKKKKKK! National Amusements' 2008 "Attack of The B Movies" series launches Thursday

National Amusements will launch the 2008 edition of "Attack Of the B Movies" this Thursday night, August 7th.

We attended most of both series last year, and had a BLAST! We were joined on several occasions by listeners of Subject:CINEMA, and we hope if you're in the Revere MA area, that you'll drop by. We aren't planning to get to all of them this year, because some of them we've seen and just CAN'T TAKE AGAIN, heh heh heh...but we WILL be covering them here, and on Subject:CINEMA.
