The Mirror Ball has dropped...and it goes to Brooke Burke and Derek Hough!

CONGRATS to Brooke Burke and Derek Hough, the season Seven champs of DANCING WITH THE STARS!

Brooke and Derek took the early lead in the first weeks of the season, and except for one off week, never looked back - in last nights' final, she was a full 6 points ahead of her nearest rivals, Warren Sapp and Kim Johnson,and 7 points ahead of third place finishers Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer when the judges's scores were tallied from Monday and Tuesday night's dances.

Those of you who follow my coverage know that I picked Brooke and Derek from the outset, so that's three out of four seasons i've watched that i've picked right from the start..not too bad...
